Look Out! ISO EN 7010 Comes Into Force at Safetyshop

Safetyshop, the UK’s market leader in safety products, has moved to reassure customers ahead of imminent changes to safety sign regulations.

In early 2011, the ISO 7010 standard will be officially updated as part of a move to harmonise safety signage across the whole of Europe, and Safetyshop has revised its catalogue of products in preparation.

ISO 7010 has been in force since late 2003, and covers safety signs used in workplaces and a variety of other locations where people need to be informed about safety matters. All of Safetyshop’s safety signs will comply to the latest ISO standards (Amendments 1-6) and the range will be updated throughout the year as more symbols are released by ISO. Signs for smoking, hard hats and fire assembly points are all covered by the new standard, and can be found in private buildings and public places across the UK.

Various amendments have been made to the standard in recent years and the latest will see a number of changes to signage in order to ensure consistency across Europe. Companies will notice some pictograms have only been very slightly altered to conform to the new rules, while other changes are far more noticeable. All changes however have been designed to make it simple for people of all European nationalities to instantly recognise important safety messages.

Sara Banks, UK Product Manager at Safetyshop, said: “The new standard, ISO EN 7010, has been devised to create consistent symbols, using new pictograms, which have been judgement tested across various EU countries to ensure the symbols are universally understood and recognised.

“We want all of our customers to be reassured, and know that when they buy a safety sign through our online store, it will be up-to-date and comply fully with all of the current guidelines.”

Static Control Ionizer Specifically Designed To Ionize Nitrogen Gas Flow In Pure Nitrogen Environments

ION Systems, an ITW Company, the leader in static charge neutralization and control products for high tech industries, announces the In-line Ultra Clean Nitrogen Ionizer, Model 4214, the first in-line ionizer specifically designed to ionize a nitrogen gas flow in ultra clean medical, semiconductor, or other high purity processes where static charge generation is an issue.

The Model 4214 In-line Ultra Clean Nitrogen Ionizer was developed to provide a solution to the problem of materials readily charging to 30-40 kV when handled in pure nitrogen environments. Many processes in the medical, semiconductor, and electronics industries are carried out in five 9’s pure nitrogen environments (99.999% nitrogen). Nitrogen ensures a clean, non-oxidizing environment that enables critical processes to be carried out without contamination issues. The dry nitrogen environment, however, encourages static charge generation, which can cause particles contamination through electrostatic attraction, or damage from ESD events. The Model 4214 ionizer, by providing a stream of ionized nitrogen, can effectively remove static charge from products to minimize particle attraction and ESD events. Nitrogen cannot be ionized with standard ionization equipment designed for use in ambient air or CDA environments. The Model 4214 provides the user with the first small format ionizer that ionizes the actual nitrogen molecules instead of the trace impurity gases.

In addition to ionizing pure nitrogen, the Model 4214 is also the world’s first corona ionizer that meets Extended ISO Class 1 cleanliness. Using formulas in the ISO 14644-1 standard, ION Systems has extrapolated the allowable particles down to 0.01 micron (10 nm) in size. These smaller particles which are not covered by ISO 14644-1 can be especially harmful to semiconductor devices with 32 nm or below technology nodes.

Safetyshop Products Help Employers Meet PPE at Work Regulations

Online retailer of essential safety products, personal protective equipment and workwear, Safetyshop.com, is offering businesses advice on how to comply with industry standards and regulations.

As one of the largest retailers of its kind, Safetyshop understands that it has a duty to its customers to provide information on what PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) is necessary for businesses to have in order to meet UK and European health and safety laws.

Safetyshop explains that all employers have to meet basic rules regarding the provision and use of PPE at work and emphasises that many working environments must comply with Regulation 4 of the PPE at Work Regulation 1992, which outlines the mandatory use of protection for the face and eyes when at risk in a hazardous area.

Eye injuries can occur as a result of flying debris, dust and hazardous chemicals and in turn these can not only cause pain but also loss of earnings, loss of time and even loss of eyesight. Safetyshop offers an extensive range of face shields, overspecs, safety goggles and eye wash products to help minimise the risk of injury to the face and eyes.

All eye and face protection products available to buy online at Safetyshop.com comply with The industrial Eye Protection Standard EN166. Safetyshop emphasise that it is important to carefully consider the different hazards in the workplace in order to allow for the correct type of PPE to be chosen. This is true for all types of PPE and workwear.

Workplace Safety Experts Slingsby Warns ‘Flooding Can Drown A Business’

AS FLOODING becomes an ever increasing risk in the UK, many organisations are investing in flood protection products as a precaution against the severe disruption that water damage can do to a business according to workplace equipment provider Slingsby.

The Association of British Insurers has revealed that since 2000 the cost of flood damage in the UK has soared by more than 200 per cent with insurers paying out £4.5 billion since the start of the decade, which is up from £1.5 billion between 1990 and 2000. Slingsby sells more than 35,000 products across all industries and in recent years the company has introduced a range of flood defence products as a direct result of customer demand.

Lee Wright, Marketing Director of Slingsby says: “Flooding is becoming an ever increasing threat to many workplaces and as we’ve seen in recent years it can happen at almost any time during the year. Many businesses that experience a flood never reopen and with the Government recently announcing investment cuts in flood defences, we’re seeing increasing numbers of businesses buying flood protection products purely as an insurance policy.

“Even though a business may not be located near to a river or other such water source, it could still be affected by surface or groundwater flooding which can be very difficult to predict. Although it’s impossible to completely flood-proof a property there are lots of things that can be done to help prevent flood damage and make drying-out and cleaning up much quicker and easier.”

Lee continues: “In buildings that are at risk of flooding, for fixed items and furniture, it’s a good idea to use water resistant materials such as stainless steel or plastic where possible and electrical equipment and machinery can sit on raised plinths. It also makes sense to raise electrical sockets and fuse boxes and store valuable items on high-mounted shelves.

“Most importantly any insurance policies covering buildings and contents should be checked to determine what cover they offer for flood damage. It’s also worth notifying insurers when making any modifications to buildings because it could result in lower premiums.”

Below is a selection of products from Slingsby’s range that are all proving especially popular with businesses and organisations looking to protect themselves against the risks of flooding. They are all available from Slingsby by visiting www.slingsby.com or by calling 0800 294 4440.

Safetyshop Warns Icy Conditions Are Set To Continue With Further Snow Fall

Winter is defiantly amongst us as snow and icy conditions are forecast to continue to affect many parts of the UK.

The cold snap will also bring freezing temperatures, overnight frosts and daytime temperatures will struggle to reach 3 or 4 degrees C. Workplace safety product supplier Safetyshop advises businesses to take these weather forecasts seriously and ask themselves if they are prepared for the start of the bad winter weather. Kimberley Slack at Safetyshop says “it’s important that workplace health and safety is well thought-out in order to minimise accidents”.

Essential items for businesses are necessary to make sure they don’t slip up this winter! It can be said that in 2009 nearly 11,000 workers suffered serious injury whilst in the workplace due to a slip or a trip –with totals reaching more than 30 each day. This is why Safetyshop are reiterating that everyone should maintain a safe working environment during the winter months.

An extensive range of stock including everything you will need to keep safe in the winter is available online. For the outdoors Safetyshop stock a superb range of rock salt, salt spreaders, grit bins, snow shovels and winter driving essentials. Not forgetting the need for an indoor range of products such as anti slip tape, entrance matting, hi-vis stair nosing and anti slip sprays, minimising slips and trips inside offices and warehousing facilities.

Slingsby’s Sound Advice Can Prevent Industrial Deafness

DESPITE legislation being introduced to guard against it, thousands of employees still develop hearing problems every year as a result of being exposed to excessive noise in the workplace, even though it is one of the easiest and cheapest conditions to prevent according to workplace equipment provider Slingsby.

Under The Control of Noise at Work Regulations, employers have a legal responsibility to protect workers from high noise levels in order to prevent hearing loss or tinnitus which causes a constant ringing, buzzing or whistling sound in the ear.

Lee Wright, Marketing Director of Slingsby explains: “Hearing problems, tinnitus or industrial deafness, as it’s often known, are still common medical conditions that are caused by excessive noise. The severity of the condition depends entirely on the level of noise and the length of time exposed to it but in severe cases it can lead to complete hearing loss and once the damage is done the effects are irreversible.

“Employers are required by law to protect their employees when noise reaches certain levels or else they can face prosecution and compensation claims. For this reason it’s important that employers monitor noise levels in areas where it can become uncomfortable. However the good news is that if it is excessive, it’s usually cheap and easy to guard employees against it.”

To help prevent hearing problems, Slingsby has compiled a check-list that employers must follow when noise levels reach certain levels.

When daily noise levels reach an average of 80 dBA (decibels) employers must:

– Explain the risks to employees and tell them how to protect their ears.
– Provide ear protectors – otherwise known as ‘ear defenders’ – and keep them in good working order.
– Reduce noise levels wherever possible by modifying, muffling or replacing equipment and maintaining it regularly.
– When daily noise levels reach an average of 85 dBA (decibels) ear protectors must be worn by law and signs must be displayed warning people they are in an ‘ear protection zone’.
– Average exposure levels, after taking into account any hearing protection, should never exceed 87 dBA.

Safetyshop Helps Businesses To Put Security At The Top Of Their Agenda

Safetyshop, supplier of health & safety solutions for over 40 years, has highlighted its range of inexpensive and easy-to-fit security products to businesses, in a bid to emphasize the importance of putting security at the forefront this winter.

Experts at Safetyshop are keen to alert businesses to the availability of simple security products such as decoy cameras, anti-climb paint and personal alarms that can help to minimise security risks as the days become shorter and there are more hours of darkness.

Safetyshop’s Kimberley Slack said: “Winter weather brings darker mornings and afternoons that can be dark from 4pm, unfortunately it’s around this time of year that security must be on the top of businesses’ agendas.

“In order to protect premises it’s essential to take a closer look at areas that can be made more secure, it’s important to assess your property along with the level of personal security for all employees. Employers do have a legal responsibility for the health and safety of employees and improving their safety can also improve the security of your business premises.”

Safetyshop understands that not all businesses can afford to implement expensive security projects and instead offers simple yet effective security solutions such as CCTV safety signs and safety window film. The trusted retailer also suggests increasing personal safety with the use of hi-vis clothing, small portable torches, identity badges and personal alarms.

Be Organised and Improve Productivity With Slingsby’s Safety Products

NEARLY every workplace in the UK can increase efficiency by making some simple improvements to employee workspaces according to Slingsby, which supplies workplace equipment across all industries and regularly advises businesses on ways of enhancing productivity.

Lee Wright, Marketing Director of Slingsby explains: “We work with all types of companies to solve a wide range of problems but a common theme revolves around employee work rates. Wages are the biggest expense for most businesses so it’s false economy if people are unable to perform to their full potential simply because of their surroundings.

“The first thing we always look at is personal workspaces and work stations and there are nearly always areas where these can be improved. Although most of us spend more time at work than anywhere else, many people neglect to keep their workspace clean and tidy which ultimately reduces a person’s efficiency.”

Lee continues: “Everyone has spent time at work trying to find things that have been misplaced. Whether it’s a phone number or a piece of equipment it wastes time and in most cases it’s completely unnecessary.

“There are huge benefits to proactive employers that encourage employees to maintain tidy and organised work areas because almost immediately they will see output improve. Even if every employee just spends five minutes at the end of the day to get organised for the following day, it makes a big difference and clearing things away after they have been used also makes for a much safer working environment.”

Slingsby sells a wide range of popular products that can help workplaces to stay organised, including office furniture and health and safety signs. For the oncoming winter weather Slingsby can help your business be prepared with grit bins and salt spreaders as well as bollards for clear marking even after a coating of snow or ice.

Safety Shop Shows How to Light Up Dark Nights

Workplace safety product specialists Safetyshop have begun to promote their range of safety products that relate to the oncoming winter period. Soon many people will be travelling to and from work in the dark and school children will be walking or cycling to school in the dark also. It’s time to take extra care as visibility and quiet, dark roads become a risk – take a forward thinking approach to staying safe this winter.

Safetyshop stock a wide range of high visibility clothing and accessories to ensure that the dark mornings and evenings don’t become a serious hazard for pedestrians as well as motorists.

Children walking to and from school are often the most vulnerable especially when crossing roads, According to official government statistics, children are more at risk from road accidents from 3pm onwards in autumn and winter and this can often coincide with workers driving home.

Safetyshop’s Kimberley Slack commented, “With an increased awareness of road safety we have found that making sure the public are able to get the best safety products can often be a life saver.

“With the darker mornings and nights it can be difficult to spot a child in the road until it’s too late. So anything that can make children and adults more visible, whether they are walking or riding a bicycle, is a high priority for us at Safetyshop”.

On the subject of motorists, the winter period poses many risks especially as temperatures drop and the roads becoming slippery with snow and ice.

Don’t Endure Another Winter Of Discontent – Protect Your Business Before The Worst Of The Weather Comes

The nights are already drawing in, and soon winter will be with us in full force. So now’s the time to make sure that your business is prepared if you want to avoid the chaos brought by the severe weather of the start of 2010.

With a leading authority on forecasting the British weather warning that the UK could be in for a second consecutive big freeze, leading safety equipment specialist Safetyshop.com is asking business owners and managers to think ahead, and ask themselves how their day-to-day operations would cope.

The UK could be in for “a combination of snow, ice and bitterly cold temperatures and another ‘white-out’ as some areas grind to a halt,” warned Jonathan Powell of Positive Weather Solutions. His organisation correctly forecast the big freeze earlier this year.

“If these predictions from experienced weather-watchers are to be believed, we’re in line for another harsh winter,” said Kimberley Slack, Safetyshop’s Internet Marking Executive.

“But there is no need for businesses to be caught cold by a sudden freeze,” Kimberley added.

“Stocking up on essentials such as anti-slip matting, using heaters and fans to keep your working environment at the right temperature, and having all the appropriate safety signs in place will help you stay productive through the worst this winter has in store.”

Safetyshop can help you keep your premises safe, limit damage caused by snow and rain, and help you prepare your business for any severe weather to come. With Rock Salt and Grit bins available as well as salt spreaders to ensure your car parks, entrances and walkways are safe.

Cut Out Those Dirty Habits At Work

The average desk’s surface contains more than 10million germs – but they can easily be eradicated

As more of us spend increasing amounts of time at our office or home desks, the areas around where we work are becoming ever-greater hazards to our health.

Hard surfaces, such as telephones, computer mice, printer buttons and door handles, are among the likely areas where some of the millions of germs lurking in every office are hiding – just waiting for their next unsuspecting victim.

Research has shown that the average office desk harbours more than 10 million germs. Many of these can cause minor illnesses, but, left unchecked, they can multiply to the extent that they become a serious health risk.

In order to help staff win this germ warfare battle, safety goods and signs supplier Safetyshop.com has added a comprehensive range of eco-friendly office cleaning equipment to its selection.

These latest products help keep every office surface clean and, more importantly, help to drastically reduce the amount of bacteria workers are exposed to.

“A proper, regular cleaning regime is proven to eliminate up to 99.9 per cent of the bacteria found in most offices,” says Kimberley Slack of Safetyshop.

“Safetyshop’s range of desktop cleaning agents has been specifically formulated with the most up-to-date ingredients to ensure safe and effective antimicrobial cleaning of all computer equipment and hard surfaces.”

The range is also entirely alcohol free, non toxic and non hazardous. All bottles and wipes are 100 per cent recyclable and cleaning wipes are 100 per cent biodegradable.

Among the lines available at www.safetyshop.com are desk, computer and telephone wipes, screen cleaning sprays and hygienic disposable cloths.

All desktop cleaning products can be ordered online, or by phone, fax or email, and next-day delivery is available for UK orders, subject to stock availability.

Volusia Manufacturers Association Designing 2010 Programs for Manufacturing Success

The Volusia Manufacturers Association Board of Directors is designing the 2010 programs to give its manufacturing and associate members “an edge” for success.

Volusia Manufacturers Association Designing 2010 Programs for Manufacturing Success

Volusia Manufacturers Association (VMA) is the only manufacturing trade association established by manufacturers uniting Volusia and Flagler County Manufacturers and Associates. The Volusia Manufacturers Association offers information, education, and networking opportunities for members, with over 60 programs annually. Once a month, all members can attend a general meeting focusing on topics the board has created for its members driven by member feedback. This year, the VMA board has decided to design programs that will give its Manufacturing and Associate members “the edge” for success and growth.

The first general meeting for 2010 will be led by Florida State Senator Evelyn Lynn. Senator Lynn began her political career as a Commissioner in the City of Ormond Beach. Following eight years in the Florida House of Representatives, she was elected to the Florida Senate in November 2002. Notably, Senator Lynn is the first woman elected to state office from Volusia County and the first woman to Chair the House Committee on Education Appropriations.

Currently, Senator Lynn is the Chair of the Florida Senate Committee on Higher Education Appropriations. She is also a member of the following Senate committees: Policy and Steering for Ways and Means; Policy and Steering for Commerce and Industry; Rules; Higher Education; Commerce; and Military Affairs and Domestic Security. She was recently appointed by the Senate President to serve on the Florida Cancer Control and Research Advisory Council.

During her years in the legislature, Senator Lynn has been recognized for her support of business and economic development as keys to improving education and family security. She is widely recognized for her knowledge of and support for Education Reform K-20, Substance Abuse Prevention, and the Arts. As a result, Senator Lynn is often sought as a speaker on vital issues impacting society in these areas both in Florida and at the national level.

On January 28, 2010, at 5:30 p.m. at the Daytona Beach International Airport ‘s Volusia Room, Senator Lynn will be discussing and obtaining feedback on the economic impact of manufacturing in Volusia and Flagler counties and the state of Florida , and the future of manufacturing in this economy. Volusia Manufacturers Association President & CEO, Jayne Fifer, said, “With the downturn of manufacturing and other industries in our counties and state, it’s more critical than ever for the manufacturers’ voices to be heard by our representatives. The VMA is working hard to provide its members with such an opportunity.”

Volusia Manufacturers Association is dedicated to examining legislation proposed by national, state, county, and city officials and advising members on issues that will impact their businesses directly or indirectly. This meeting is just one of many that will be presented in 2010 by the VMA for members to directly interact with county, state, and federal representatives.

For more information about the Volusia Manufacturers Association or attending this meeting, please contact Volusia Manufacturers Association or Jayne Fifer at 386.673.0505.

Don’t Slip Up When It Comes To Floor Safety

Having the right warnings and vital safeguards in place can prevent a nasty, and potentially expensive, accident. The icy start to 2010 has focused all our minds on conditions underfoot, and the need to take extra care when things turn hazardous.

Don't Slip Up When It Comes To Floor Safety

But many of the dangers which we’ve encountered during the cold snap are present constantly in lots of working environments – and not being aware of them can have some nasty consequences.

So at Safetyshop we can help you have the right warnings in place to alert people to any hazards in your factory, warehouse or office, and the right equipment, work wear and fittings to help prevent any mishaps.

When you consider that Health and Safety at Work legislation obliges companies to have warnings in place – and carries the possibility of heavy penalties where they aren’t displayed – then an outlay of just a few pounds must be a sensible investment for any business.

“In 2009, nearly 11,000 workers suffered a serious injury as a result of a slip or trip at work – that’s more than 30 EVERY DAY,” said Safetyshop’s Product Marketing Manager, Bhavna Mistry.

“This is despite there being well-established regulations in place governing employers’ responsibilities for carrying out risk assessments, including slip, trip and falling hazards, and for pointing these out clearly to all staff and other visitors.”

Hazards come in all shapes and sizes, but the penalties for not acknowledging them can be onerous. For example, a warehouse worker from Bristol who slipped on a tomato which had been dropped onto the floor was awarded £2,500 compensation from his employer.

And the employer of a kitchen worker who fractured her skull on a slippery floor after cleaners removed safety mats placed over the surface, leaving it to become contaminated with food waste, water and oily residues, was ordered to pay more than£36,000 including court costs.

The use, type and style of such warnings are also tightly regulated, and are now standardised across all of the European Union, under the Health & Safety (Safety Signs & Signals) Regulations introduced in 2009. These also increased the number of warning symbols in use, and stipulated that all hazard safety signs included a pictogram as part of their design to aid interpretation.

Safetyshop keeps right up-to-date with all such developments, so by taking advice from us, you can be clear on where your obligations lie.

We can offer a range of safety signs which make your safety messages highly visible and fully compliant throughout your premises.

I-TECH And KT Web Printing Ltd. Partner To Install The First I-TECH Automatic Register Control System In Canada

Imaging Technologies, Inc. (I-TECH, www.i-technologies-inc.com) I-TECH and KT Web Printing Ltd. (Toronto, Canada) have formed an alliance to install the first I-TECH automatic register control system in Canada. KT Web Printing, a cold-set web printer, has been specializing in printing newspapers and magazines in Toronto, Canada since 1983. I -TECH’s automatic register control system will be installed on KT Web’s existing Ventura 4-High presses beginning in December and will go live in January 2010.

Thomas Kim, President of KT Web Printing Ltd., says, “I-TECH’s impressive software interface, online support and troubleshooting, and almost invisible registration dots compelled us to really examine I-TECH’s advanced system. Their highly competitive pricing and guarantees, as well as their friendly staff, helped make our decision easier.”

Bill Brandenburg, I-TECH’s Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, says, “The KT Web partnership allows us an opportunity to provide register motorization on their 4-High’s as well as give them a state-of-the-art productivity solution. Having a Canadian demo facility will also help us in our expansion efforts in the greater North America.”

Imaging Technologies, Inc. and Richner Communications, Inc. (Garden City, NY) also have partnered to put the first I-TECH automatic register control system on the East Coast. The I-TECH closed loop, automatic register control system will be installed on Richner’s existing DGM 430 press in January 2010 and will go live in February. Stuart Richner, President of Richner Communications, Inc., says, “We chose the I-TECH register system after a thorough investigation of the alternatives. The I-TECH system’s advanced technology, ease of use, and nearly undetectable register marks—coupled with its team of dedicated, attentive personnel—gave I-TECH the edge over competing products. The fact that the system is extremely well priced, and offers excellent guarantees and online support, made our decision that much easier.”

Bill Brandenburg, added, “We are excited to have Richner as a partner in this project. Richner will receive lowered make-ready waste and time as well as helping their “Green” profile. At the same time, I-TECH will get another first class demo site to bring in other prospective printers.” Brandenburg also points out that “We now have our equipment on heatset, coldset, and UV presses at newspapers as well as commercial printers. Furthermore, if we combine these two orders with our existing customer base, it gives us 22 webs of register, ribbon, and/or cut-off control on 9 different presses at 6 sites. That’s a pretty impressive record for a company who installed their first system just 18 months ago.”

About Imaging Technologies, Inc.:
Established in 2006, Imaging Technologies, Inc. (I-TECH) provides state-of-the-art machine vision systems for industrial process automation. SafetyShop Introduces New Health & Safety Range for Education

To celebrate the launch of its new and improved interactive website, Safetyshop has announced the introduction of a brand new health and safety category at www.safetyshop.com/education

In this new category Safetyshop has taken the most frequently ordered safety equipment and signs products from organisations within the education sector and put them all in one convenient location. The range includes health and safety related products for organisations included schools, colleges and universities.

Peter Smart, business manager for Safetyshop, explains ‘it’s a one-stop shop for the education sector. For sometime now we have wanted to improve the online version of our 872 page catalogue so we did some research. We asked our customers what they needed the online version of our catalogue to do.”

“As we listened it became very clear almost immediately. They needed a reliable, quick, easy-to-use and secure online ordering process. Our solution, one category, dedicated to one sector with the most essential and up-to-date health and safety products. ’

Safetyshop’s education range will be the first of many new online categories, timed perfectly for the start of the new school year. It will enable existing customers to order online much more quickly and, for those customers yet to order online, an opportunity to view other safety essentials within Safetyshop range.

Product variety now dictates the online categories. The education product range includes eco-friendly whiteboards, sports first aid kits, floor stands, fire extinguishers, salt & spreader kits, line marking applicators and much more. To view the full range visit www.safetyshop.com/education

Datacraft Solutions, Inc. And Danaher Corporation Announce Strategic Partnership

Signum is an automated digital supply chain technology that reduces inventory levels, increases productivity, continually improves process flow and provides realtime, visual and collaborative communication in the supply chain. Signum is delivered securely over the Internet without the need to install and maintain complex, expensive software.

Brian Burnett, the Vice President of the Danaher Business Systems Office (DBSO) and Procurement says, “A key performance indicator we measure across the Danaher businesses is inventory turns. When inventory turns consistently improve, a lot of the right processes are in place. We are excited about our partnership with Datacraft Solutions because they provide us with “low barrier to entry,” state of the art technology with which we can easily standardize across our organization. Datacraft enables us to integrate with our diverse back office systems, so we can leverage our existing processes and technology and move into production, quickly realizing results.”

“Datacraft’s approach is to work with the world’s premiere lean leaders to develop and operate businesses that generate outstanding financial returns”, said Stephen Parker, Datacraft CEO. “Our strategic partnership with Danaher draws on a joint commitment to develop world class inventory supply chain execution systems which yield unprecedented inventory turnover while supporting micro-short customer delivery cycles. This collaboration will be compelling not only for our companies, but also for our industries, our partners and, of course, for consumers”.
